Crashing in the wall

For the sake of variation and in order to satisfy my needs for adrenaline, sometimes I take Palomina (and Laura) off-roading. This time I lost control because of the grass and we ended up hitting some guy’s wall. No damages (besides some scratches), no injuries, just pure fun!485 wall486 wall487 wall

Transmission problems

This malfunction almost ended our trip! The chian got very worn and at one point it got off the rear sprocket. There was a chance to break the engine block as a result of the chain being caught entirely around the front sprocket, but fortunately we were spared. By luck, we were on top of a small hill, so we let the motorcycle roll down on the streets until we found a small shop. There, I managed to have everybody else work while I played with puppies and took some photos!477 chain478 chain479 chain480 chain481 chain

Quito, Ecuador

Quito, like most major cities in Latin America, is paralized with traffic, lacks an efficient transit system and suffers from high pollution levels. We visited the historic city center and the Vivarium (the reptile musem, that even has a smal cayman).471 quito472 quito473 quito474 quito475 quito
