After leaving Nazca, the road climbed sharply. It was getting cold and dark and there was no trace of any village, not to mention hotel. Rocks were everywhere, no sand and no grass to use for camping. We were running out of options but after talking to a truck driver we agreed to camp on top of the cement bags that he had in the trailer. Poor guy!
