| From Bombay we went South to see Goa, a former Portuguese colony, conquered by India in 1961. Very nice tropical scenery and the finest sand ever. |

| By coincidence, at the same hotel came this Hungarian guy who rides the four times Paris-Dakar champion bike, the Honda Africa Twin. He is on the same route as us, only he is heading East.
