| During the late XIX century the Ottoman empire was trying to catch up with the West. Thus, the administration moved to a new palace, built with Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassical influences. The focus of the museum is on the lifestyle of the ruling family. Very interesting furniture, paintings and decorations.

The explanations shown near Stephan The Great’s sword contain some errors (starting with confusion between 1433 – 1504 – life period and 1457 – 1504 – reign period and culminating with mixing Stephan The Great’s achievements and Michael The Brave’s achievements – Michael The Brave – reigned Muntenia between 1593 – 1601).
