From Tijuana we got to Rosarito, home of some Fox Studios. We were planning to visit the Titanic setting. Bad luck, that “museum” had been dismantled only 5 months ago. As we continued South (with the plan to reach Santa Rosalia and then take the ferry towards the mainland) we entered Ensenada, where we found out that one bridge has colapsed due to flood and mud sliding. The roads were closed, so we had to ride North-east, to Mexicali, to avoid being stucked down there…
Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico
So, once again, ready to roll. This is how the GS looks now, fully loaded with all the gear. But the problems did not wait to show up: after some off roading in Tijuana, the tail light got out of the mount. A know problem, as I found out later. Third picture, the Mexican-American borderd, at the point where the border meets the Pacific Ocean..
Greetings from Baja!
Well, not quite. I had to return from Tijuana to get some stuff that I forgot. But hey, even NASA postpones the launches sometimes. So this is no big deal, right?
