After a long ride through the Brazilian pampas, we arrived in São Paulo. We stayed there for two days. The first day we were a bit confused and disoriented so we just took Palomina for a spin to the shopping district and back. The second day we went to Praca de Sé. We left the bike in a parking lot and we continued on foot, first to the BANESPA building (very good observation deck), then through the old center towards Edificio Italia (another tall building with an observation deck), then back with the subway. In one subway station we found an automatic vending machine selling books!

Our conclusion is that São Paulo is for sure a city good for business but way too crowded and with too much concrete everywhere.

Later edit: while riding on the Paulista Ave, Laura spotted a photo exhibit. We got inside and we found picture taken by a Brazilian artist from remote places like Amazonas, Bolivia, Morocco, Tibet and Japan. We were excited to see places we had just visited and got determined to travel more to see the rest as well.
